Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Swift (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Mathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathers has chosen Anthem of Kings as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Swift! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marshall Mathers! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Eddie Farnsworth and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mathers clobbers Swift with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Mathers throws a low kick but Swift avoids it. Mathers throws a push kick but Swift slaps the foot to one side. Swift misses with a hook
and Mathers cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Mathers lands with a kick to the temple. Swift shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Sam Swift has been cut. Swift throws a looping overhand right but Mathers ducks down to avoid it. Swift lands a jab to Mathers's midsection. Mathers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mathers tries a head kick but it misses.
Swift throws a hook but Mathers avoids it easily. Swift misses with a wild body shot. Swift walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mathers. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mathers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Swift tries to bum rush Mathers with a series of wild strikes but Mathers uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A slapping leg kick lands for Mathers.
Swift falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mathers counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mathers scores with a head kick.
Mathers throws a series of punches but Swift avoids them all with ease. Swift misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mathers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Swift blocks a head kick by Mathers.
Mathers throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Swift. Mathers throws a front kick that sends Swift stumbling back into the cage. Mathers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mathers looks to score with a jab to the body but Swift is just out of range. Mathers slips a jab from Swift. Swift swinging wildly here.
Swift throws a right hand that Mathers ducks under and follows up with a left that Mathers also avoids with ease. Mathers digs a good hook to Swift's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Swift missing with a left hand there. Mathers was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Swift really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Swift takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mathers connects with an inside leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mathers misses with a wild combination.
Swift tries to bum rush Mathers with a series of wild strikes but Mathers uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Swift sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Sloppy strikes from Swift. Those never looked like landing. Swift will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Swift is breathing heavily. Swift throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Mathers to counter with a crisp jab. Mathers throws a wild body kick that Swift sees coming a mile off. Swift avoids the head kick by Mathers.
Mathers tries a head kick but it misses.
Mathers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swift stuns Mathers with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Swift walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mathers. Swift scores with a nice right hand.
Mathers with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mathers. That's going to slow Swift down. Mathers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Swift moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mathers throws a leg kick which misses Swift's front leg but catches the back leg as Swift tries to avoid it. Mathers throws a sloppy head kick and Swift moves out of range easily. Mathers walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Swift will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Mathers counters with an inside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mathers moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Mathers lands a high kick!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mathers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Swift on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mathers, right into the meat.
A cross from Mathers lands. A decent looking body kick lands there for Mathers. Mathers misses with a head kick.
Mathers bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Swift's head backwards. Swift misses with a wild body shot. Mathers connects with the punch. Mathers looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Swift takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Swift takes one on the button. Mathers throws the kick towards the body but Swift avoids it. Mathers turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marshall Mathers dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sam Swift's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
A head kick misses from Mathers. Marshall Mathers seems to be getting the better of the standup. Mathers misses with a body shot.
Swift walks into a stiff left hand from Mathers. Mathers displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Swift throws out the jab. Swift closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Mathers takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Swift looks to land a combination but Mathers avoids it well. Swift throws a hook to the side of Mathers's head but Mathers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. That kick from Mathers tenderised Swift's leg. Swift is trying to keep his angry face on. Mathers connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Mathers scores with a jab to the jaw. Mathers pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Mathers. Mathers wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Mathers scores with a body shot.
Mathers has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Swift takes one on the button. Mathers showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Swift.
Mathers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Swift moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mathers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Swift has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. A solid leg kick lands there for Mathers.
Mathers lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Swift backs up against the cage.
Swift is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mathers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Oh Swift is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Good standup being displayed there by Mathers as he connects with a hook. Mathers connects with a body shot that sends Swift's belly button to the back. Swift gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Marshall Mathers!
