Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger Rickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roger Rickson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake White! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Rickson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rickson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Rickson is trying to keep White in close.
White is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Rickson is looking to stand up but White isn't so interested in that idea. White postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. White trying to control the position from guard on top but Rickson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. White trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Rickson manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. White keeping moving, preventing Rickson from controlling successfully. White not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rickson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Roger Rickson just wasn't active enough. White tries to clinch but Rickson moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White closes the distance and pushes Rickson back into the cage. Rickson looking to throw knees to the head but White is blocking nicely.
White lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rickson backwards. Knees in the clinch landing for White.
White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rickson looks to clinch and White counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rickson won't be happy with that. Rickson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rickson tries to get out of the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rickson struggling a bit here. White working the strikes but Rickson uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White is trying for a kimura here. Rickson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! White wins by kimura!
