Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uncle Cracker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Lume (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lume comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Onward Christian Soldiers kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Uncle Cracker could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jonathan Lume's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cracker looks to clinch

and Lume counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Lume slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Lume's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Lume really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cracker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lume takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Cracker looks like he's trying to stand up.

Lume is taking a breather. Cracker says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lume decides to stand and escape the position.
Uncle Cracker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lume moves into the clinch successfully.

Lume tries to break free but Cracker pushes him back against the cage.
Cracker lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Lume is trying to trip Cracker. He has hold of a leg but Cracker is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lume persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Lume should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cracker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lume can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cracker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lume manages to get himself to full guard.
