Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Junior Dos Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vanden Plas!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos throws a series of punches but Plas avoids them all with ease.
Dos Santos tries to clinch but Plas is having none of it.
Plas dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Plas throws a low kick but Dos Santos avoids it.
Plas lands the left hand.

It looks like Junior Dos Santos has been cut.
Dos Santos throws a shot from downtown. Plas moves away and avoids it.
Dos Santos throws a lazy uppercut
and Plas counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Plas throws a front kick aimed at Dos Santos's knee but Dos Santos avoids it well.
Plas connects with an inside leg kick.
Vanden Plas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Plas feints and then cracks Dos Santos's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dos Santos down.
Plas throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Dos Santos takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Dos Santos is breathing heavily.
Dos Santos tries a head kick but it misses.
Dos Santos doesn't manage to clinch there - Plas circles away.
Dos Santos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Plas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dos Santos has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dos Santos and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Plas cracks Dos Santos on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Dos Santos falls backwards against the cage. Plas follows up with more strikes that drop Dos Santos to his knees. Plas keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Dos Santos! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vanden Plas!
