Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Monzer Al Kassar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Patrick O Sullivan!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Kassar scores with a nice strike.
O Sullivan misses with a double jab
and Al Kassar counters with a straight right hand.
O Sullivan throws a series of punches but Al Kassar avoids them all with ease.
O Sullivan throws a head kick that misses.
Patrick O Sullivan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
O Sullivan looks to score with a jab to the body but Al Kassar is just out of range.
A nice combination there by Al Kassar.
Al Kassar connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.


O Sullivan is rocked!

O Sullivan tries to land a front kick but Al Kassar steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

O Sullivan is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Al Kassar.

Al Kassar moves into the clinch successfully.

Al Kassar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
O Sullivan throws a head kick but Al Kassar moves out of range.
Al Kassar scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Al Kassar scores with a hook to the body. O Sullivan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
O Sullivan looks gassed!
O Sullivan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Al Kassar cracks a nice hook into O Sullivan's ribs.
Al Kassar dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Al Kassar lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - O Sullivan can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Al Kassar and O Sullivan drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Al Kassar.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Monzer Al Kassar!
