Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Lerppa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Tannur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tannur is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Desert Rose. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Evan Tannur! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tannur throws a head kick that misses. Lerppa shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Tannur is trying to control but can't.
Lerppa missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lerppa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tannur doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lerppa. The fighters are battling for position here. Tannur has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lerppa is working away from the top position though. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lerppa is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That was a close round but I would say that Keijo Lerppa will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tannur lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lerppa has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lerppa and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Lerppa on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tannur. Tannur obviously looking to wear him down.

Lerppa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tannur sprawls well. Tannur wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lerppa gets slowly back to his feet. Tannur pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tannur throws a head kick that misses. Tannur leaves Lerppa with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lerppa blocks a head kick by Tannur.
Lerppa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tannur tries to avoid it but Lerppa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tannur to the ground. Tannur escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Some wild striking there from Tannur.
Lerppa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tannur sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lerppa somewhat. Tannur throws a head kick but Lerppa moves out of range.

Tannur cracks the inside of Lerppa's front leg. Lerppa with a poor takedown and Tannur counters with a good low kick that Lerppa was not able to check. Tannur jabs at Lerppa's body. Tannur goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A chopping leg kick lands by Tannur. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lerppa blocks a head kick by Tannur.
