Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aldo Alpha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Wayne- I'm Me. Aldo Alpha acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva looks to clinch
and Alpha counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Silva's guard now.
Alpha stands and throws Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Alpha tries for a kimura but Silva is defending well.
Alpha throws a strike aimed at the side of Silva's head but Silva avoids it well.
Alpha remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Alpha thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Alpha escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Michael Silva.
I think Alpha has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
