Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Viper Trait (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maicol Mena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Maicol Mena!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trait clinches up against the cage.
Trait pushes off an throws an elbow but Mena leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Trait pulls Mena into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Mena thows a big elbow that misses.
Trait keeping moving, preventing Mena from controlling successfully.
Trait looking for a sweep. Not yet Trait, not yet.
Trait trying to keep a closed guard but Mena is proving a slippery customer.
Mena throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Trait works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mena passes Trait's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Trait knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mena on the ground.
Trait is trying to get back to full guard.
Trait actively working from the bottom here.
Mena controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mena winds up and cracks Trait with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Trait is trying to stand back up but Mena is controlling him
Mena trying to work for an americana but Trait has managed to regain full guard.
Trait can't keep his opponent in guard - Mena advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Mena passes to side control.
Mena wants to lay and pray for a moment but Trait keeps working.
Mena working the ground and pound from side control.
Trait is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mena thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mena tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Mena is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Trait has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Trait regains half guard there - taking advantage of Mena's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Mena decides to stand and escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mena throws a sloppy head kick
and Trait counters with a single leg into guard. Mena didn't expect that.
Mena bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Trait's guard.
Trait is pulling down on Mena's head. It's preventing any offense from Mena, at least for the moment.
Mena trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Mena slips nicely into half guard.
Mena is nestled in close to Trait, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mena maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Trait could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mena has cracked it and Trait is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mena!
