Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Orpik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castle comes to the cage accompanied by Demon Hunter - Storm The Gates Of Hell. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Orpik! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orpik with a lazy takedown attempt and Castle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Orpik shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Castle counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Castle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Castle wants it to stay on the feet. Eric Castle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Orpik. Castle throws a right and a left that both miss. Castle stuffs the takedown. Castle misses with a two punch combination.

Orpik dives in and grabs Castle's left leg, looking for a takedown. Castle pushes down on Orpik's head and hops out. No joy there for Castle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Orpik is trying desperately to land a takedown but Castle is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Orpik. Castle throws a right hand that Orpik ducks under and follows up with a left that Orpik also avoids with ease. Orpik with a lazy takedown attempt and Castle counters with a body kick that stops Orpik in his tracks momentarily. Castle has taken the fight to the clinch.

Castle will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Orpik up against the cage. Orpik is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Castle pulls him back up using the underhooks. Eric Castle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Orpik. Castle wants the takedown. Orpik is fighting it off but Castle persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Orpik's guard against the cage. Orpik working a defensive guard but Castle passes into half guard.
Castle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Orpik with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Orpik is looking to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Castle is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Orpik to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Orpik shrugs it off. Orpik can't escape the position.

Castle dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Orpik. That did some damage! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Orpik takes a jab right on the kisser.

Orpik looking to hit a scissor sweep but Castle is one step ahead there. Castle is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Orpik can do to turn this around? Orpik is trying to control the position but Castle postures up. Orpik is looking for a triangle but Castle pushes his legs off easily.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Orpik trying to keep a closed guard but Castle is proving a slippery customer.
Castle working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Castle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Orpik has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Castle has managed to get both his arms back between Orpik's legs - danger averted. Orpik controls Castle momentarily but Castle frees himself. Castle stands up over Orpik, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Orpik throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Castle escapes and throws Orpik's legs to the side, diving into side control! Castle tries for a kimura but Orpik is defending well. Eric Castle is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Orpik is looking to reverse the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Eric Castle showed his dominance in that final round. Well Castle has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
