Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Phunk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danger David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David pushes Phunk up against the cage in a clinch.
David crunches a lovely knee into Phunk's ribcage.
David's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
David lands with a kick to the temple. Phunk shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
A head kick misses from David.
David stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and David wants it to stay on the feet.
David throws a nice outside leg kick.
Phunk shoots in for a double leg but David sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Phunk throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Phunk is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That was a close round but I would say that Dave Phunk will probably get the nod.
That's time! Phunk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

David fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Phunk, pushing him back against the cage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Phunk tries to bum rush David with a series of wild strikes but David uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Phunk cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dave Phunk.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Phunk, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
