The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abbott takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hendo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Abbott throws out the jab.

Hendo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Abbott is controlling him.

Hendo has momentary wrist control but Abbott slips an elbow through the middle.

Abbott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hendo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hendo is looking to stand up but Abbott isn't so interested in that idea.

Abbott postures up in Hendo's guard and throws a big left but Hendo blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dan Hendo's cut is getting worse.
Abbott lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Hendo! More strikes land and this one is all over! Abbott jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
