Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorbo Klicknakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jorbo Klicknakov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Peterson! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klicknakov shoots in looking for a takedown. Peterson tries to sprawl out of it but Klicknakov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Peterson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Peterson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Klicknakov. Peterson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Klicknakov's guard. Klicknakov has his foot on Peterson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Peterson works his way back into a safe position though. Klicknakov tries to land a sweep but no joy. Peterson looking to sit in guard and control but Klicknakov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Klicknakov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Peterson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Peterson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Peterson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Peterson kicks Klicknakov off and gets to his feet. Peterson looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Klicknakov is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Klicknakov is looking to clinch but Peterson is avoiding it.
Peterson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Klicknakov scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Peterson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Peterson is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peterson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Klicknakov is controlling him well. Klicknakov misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Peterson is not content to let Klicknakov control the position. Klicknakov wants to stand but Peterson is controlling his arm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peterson is trying to control Klicknakov's posture but Klicknakov avoids it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Klicknakov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Peterson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Peterson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Klicknakov off and has taken his back! Peterson tries to keep control of the position but Klicknakov is staying busy. Klicknakov tries to escape but Peterson has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Peterson working for the choke. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Peterson scores with punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peterson just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Klicknakov looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Klicknakov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Peterson on the ground. Peterson tries to get the hooks in deep but Klicknakov pushed the leg off. You can see the frustration on Klicknakov's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Klicknakov is trying to defend against the choke here but Peterson has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Peterson Tightens the hold and Klicknakov taps out furiously! Peterson displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). David Peterson!
