Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fou Rthihovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Fou Rthihovsky has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Fou Rthihovsky seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fou Rthihovsky! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Noah Ho! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ho rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rthihovsky moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nice shot by Rthihovsky. Rthihovsky keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ho lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rthihovsky circles away quickly and effectively. Rthihovsky avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Rthihovsky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ho throws out the jab. Ho lands a two punch combo.
Rthihovsky shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ho napping and manages to drive through into side control! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Rthihovsky tries to move to full mount but Ho actually manages to regain half guard. Ho is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rthihovsky's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rthihovsky's back! Ho is trying to stick to Rthihovsky's back but Rthihovsky is turning into Ho. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ho's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rthihovsky. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ho tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rthihovsky sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ho's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ho is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ho gets full guard. Rthihovsky got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ho has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rthihovsky has managed to get both his arms back between Ho's legs - danger averted. Rthihovsky trying to control but Ho is working from the bottom. Rthihovsky tries to free his leg and advance position but Ho is retaining full guard. Rthihovsky controls from within his opponent's guard. Rthihovsky wants to control from the top but Ho keeps moving. Rthihovsky is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Fou Rthihovsky just wasn't active enough. Rthihovsky looks to land a right hand but Ho moved out of range. Rthihovsky lands a jab to Ho's midsection. Ho scores with a nice head shot. A telegraphed right hand from Ho misses the target. A big left from Ho misses. No luck for Ho with that takedown attempt. Rthihovsky throws a body punch but Ho moves out of range. Rthihovsky stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rthihovsky moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Ho lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ho throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rthihovsky makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Rthihovsky connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ho. Ho circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Rthihovsky with a hook. Ho scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Ho throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Rthihovsky is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ho is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are battling for position here. Rthihovsky manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Ho trying to control the position from guard on top but Rthihovsky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ho throwing strikes from guard but Rthihovsky blocks nicely. Rthihovsky wants to sweep here but Ho controlling him for the moment. Ho wants to control from the top but Rthihovsky keeps moving. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rthihovsky pulls Ho in close to his closed guard and prevents Ho from doing any damage or advancing position. Ho won't allow Rthihovsky to sweep him here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Ho with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Noah Ho will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ho throws a nice looking combination but Rthihovsky bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ho walks into a straight right hand from Rthihovsky. Rthihovsky shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Rthihovsky cracks Ho with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
BOOM! Rthihovsky connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Rthihovsky putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Ho gets back to half guard. Ho wants to control but Rthihovsky is keeping busy and won't allow it. Rthihovsky slows the pace down in half guard. Rthihovsky is pressing down on Ho's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ho is holding on for now. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rthihovsky connects with a nice short shot to Ho's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rthihovsky controlling the pace. Rthihovsky works his foot free and advances to mount. Ho is trying desperately to improve position. Rthihovsky with shots to the head and body - Ho looks very uncomfortable down there. Rthihovsky takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rthihovsky landing shots from mount. Ho is trying desperately to improve position. Ho sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Rthihovsky is nestled in close to Ho, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Rthihovsky lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ho is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rthihovsky pulls his head out easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rthihovsky looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Rthihovsky controlling the pace. Rthihovsky wants to take a breather but Ho is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ho is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rthihovsky pulls his head out easily. Rthihovsky is looking to take a break and control but Ho is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ho looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Rthihovsky performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Fou Rthihovsky overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rthihovsky has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Ho is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Rthihovsky jumps into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rthihovsky wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ho keeps working. Rthihovsky in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Ho is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
