Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a solid leg kick but Alves takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gracie.
Gracie takes a swing at Alves's ribcage but misses.
Alves works the jab nicely.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
Gracie chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Alves can pounce on him.
A looping hook to the body misses from Alves. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet.
Alves lands with a shot to the body.
Alves feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gracies jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fighters circling - Alves throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gracie throws a lazy right hand but Alves sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gracie crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Alves - the referee stops the clock and Gracie gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Alves. Gracie manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alves tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alves to the ground. Alves escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mateus Gracie will probably get the nod.

I think Alves has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
