Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jigoro Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Hollywood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane comes to the cage accompanied by Under a Killing Moon by Thrice. Hollywood has chosen Deadbolt as his entrance music. Jigoro Kane could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to David Hollywood's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hollywood lands a jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kane.
Kane moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Hollywood.
Hollywood moves out of range of the strikes.
Hollywood takes a swing at Kane's ribcage but misses.
Kane jabs Hollywood to the body, keeping him at a distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hollywood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kane moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hollywood throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kane takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hollywood looks for the body kick but Kane saw that one coming.
David Hollywood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hollywood uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kane.
Kane misses the shot to the body.
Kane stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like David Hollywood has been cut.
Hollywood ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Both fighters circling a little - Kane finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Hollywood fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kane manages to avoid it.
Hollywood misses with a leg kick
and Kane counters with a lovely straight right hand!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Hollywood tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kane was well out of range. Poor timing from Hollywood.
Kane blocks a low kick nicely.

Hollywood throws a leg kick but Kane moved away.
A telegraphed right hand from Kane misses the target.
Hollywood cracks Kane with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hollywood will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kane wants to clinch.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kane.
Hollywood does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Hollywood walks into a left hand.
Hollywood needs to keep his hands up - Kane had a free shot at his head there.

Hollywood shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hollywood dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kane tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hollywood manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kane takes a swing at Hollywood's ribcage but misses.
A shot to the liver by Hollywood. Beautiful body shot.
Hollywood has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kane.
Kane takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kane takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Hollywood fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kane manages to avoid it.

Hollywood uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kane.
Hollywood feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kanes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hollywood lands a head kick!
Kane connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hollywood. Hollywood circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Hollywood ducks under a wild hook from Kane.
Hollywood comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kane keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kane uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hollywood.
Hollywood misses with a hook.
Hollywood tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kane is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Hollywood throws a jab when Kane was well out of range.
Kane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hollywood just misses with a punch to the body.
Kane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hollywood.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kane checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hollywood throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kane.
Kane moves out of range of the strikes.
Hollywood takes a shot to the body in his stride.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jigoro Kane will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on David Hollywood's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hollywood takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Kane works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

and Kane counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Hollywood! He's just covering up as Kane starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
