Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leor Nadav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Rich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leor Nadav!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rich dives in and scores a takedown into Nadav's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Rich working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Rich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nadav swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rich throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nadav works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rich controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Nadav is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Rich dives in and scores a takedown into Nadav's guard.
Nadav doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Rich stands and steps away. Nadav gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Nadav shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rich but Rich pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nadav throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rich.

Nadav gets caught napping as Rich dives in and scores a takedown. Nadav manages to retain guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rich stands and throws Nadav's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Rich decides to stand back up.

Nadav swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rich leaves Nadav with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nadav looks gassed!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Nadav enables Rich to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nadav manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Rich not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Rich stands and steps away. Nadav gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Rich closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rich lands in his opponent's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rich's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Nadav isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rich stacks Nadav on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rich!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rich decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Rich shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Rich is nestled in close to Nadav, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nadav is bucking up trying to escape but Rich cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Nadav takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rich lands a big elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Rich looks for the body kick but Nadav saw that one coming.

Rich shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nadav's guard.
Nadav manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Nadav sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Rich tries to hold on but Nadav postures up.
Rich holds on to Nadav around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.
Nadav can't control as he wanted to and Rich manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Nadav wants to pass to mount but Rich is defending the position.

Rich keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rich shoots in but no luck this time.
Nadav changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rich tries to avoid it but Nadav manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rich to the ground. Rich escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nadav is breathing heavily.

Rich closes the distance and clinches.
A right handed body shot lands from Rich.

Rich is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nadav can do to turn this around?
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rich creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Nadav is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rich gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Rich escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nadav shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Rich throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nadav was covering up waiting for the punch and Rich finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Rich sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nadav's guard.

Rich is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Rich seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nadav for as long as he can get away with.

Rich escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nadav gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rich bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nadav's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rich tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Nadav is bucking up trying to escape but Rich cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Rich controlling from mount.
Rich lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Rich stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Rich steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nadav.

Rich moves into the clinch.

Rich wants the takedown. Nadav is fighting it off but Rich persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Nadav's guard against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rich postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nadav is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rich, into his guard.
Rich is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rich gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
