PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wesley Mathews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Get out of my way. The key to victory for Patrick Diaz has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mathews has his takedown stuffed
and Diaz counters with a stiff right hand.

Diaz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mathews tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Diaz is in Mathews's guard.

Mathews looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Diaz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
