The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fall with a lazy takedown attempt
and Dos Santos counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fall doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dos Santos counters with a series of strikes. Fall will be more careful next time no doubt.
Dos Santos slaps away a takedown attempt from Fall, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Chack Dos Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bli Fall.
Fall shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dos Santos is trying to defend but Fall finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dos Santos is doing well to control the position and prevent Fall from advancing to side control.
Fall prevents Dos Santos from standing back up.
Fall is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dos Santos is just riding it out for now. Fall eventually gives up the hold.

Fall wants to pass the guard but Dos Santos is keeping the position.
Dos Santos lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fall!

Dos Santos postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Fall in real trouble here! The ref calls for Fall to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
