Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Julien Denis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raoul Shooke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Raoul Shooke was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Denis just misses with a punch to the body.
Shooke looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Denis clinches.
Shooke successfully pulls guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Denis is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Denis is in close to Shooke's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Shooke keeping full guard, as Denis tries to pass.

Denis tries to free his leg and advance position but Shooke is retaining full guard.

Shooke can't keep his opponent in guard - Denis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Denis uses his free foot to push down on Shooke's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Shooke.
Denis has hold of Shooke's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Shooke manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Denis looking to ground and pound but Shooke is blocking nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Denis with shots to the head and body - Shooke looks very uncomfortable down there.

Denis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Shooke is looking to escape.
Denis is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Shooke can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Denis lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Denis shoots in and gets a takedown into Shooke's guard.
Denis postures up in Shooke's guard and throws a big left but Shooke blocks it.

Denis sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Shooke is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Denis wants to control but Shooke is keeping him busy.
Shooke looking for a sweep but Denis has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Denis landing strikes, looking to finish!
Denis is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Shooke is squirming around, avoiding Denis's attempts to control the action.
Denis is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Denis throws a low kick but Shooke moves out of range easily.
Denis manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Shooke on his heels. He'll look to pass Shooke's guard now, I'm sure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shooke escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Denis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Denis controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Denis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Shooke tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Denis closes the distance and pushes Shooke back into the cage.

Shooke drops back looking for a leg! Denis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Denis manages to kick Shooke off! Shooke jumps back into Denis's guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Shooke enables Denis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shooke manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Denis is looking to work some ground and pound but Shooke has wrist control.
Denis advances to half guard.
Denis wants to take a breather but Shooke is having none of it.
Denis is working for a kimura but Shooke is defending it quite comfortably.
Shooke wants to control but Denis is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Shooke takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Denis wants to stand up but Shooke is controlling the position.
