Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Chigurh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chigurh is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kvelertak-Mjod. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chigurh fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Mendez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chigurh sprawls well. Chigurh wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mendez gets slowly back to his feet.
Chigurh throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Chigurh is looking to clinch but Mendez is avoiding it.

Mendez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chigurh connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mendez scrambles back to his feet.
Mendez shoots in for a takedown but Chigurh shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mendez moves forwards but Chigurh connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Chigurh is looking to land a big knee to finish this one. He's got control of the head and as Mendez tries to break Chigurh's hands from around his neck, Chigurh unloads with that fight ending knee, right up the middle! Oh man, that was nasty! Mendez will need to get back to the training room and learn how to defend against the thai clinch! Oooh, his nose is a mess. Hopefully it's not broken.
