Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy The Bar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Hurley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hurley has chosen Free Bird as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bryan Hurley! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Bar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hurley throws a leg kick but The Bar checks it. The Bar misses with a wild combination.
Hurley moves into the clinch. Hurley is trying to stall.
The Bar lands with a short shot to the head. The Bar working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Hurley's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! The Bar tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Hurley wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but The Bar has him pressed against the cage. The Bar working aggressively here.

The Bar wants to clinch up but Hurley keeps it at a distance. The Bar throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hurley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. The Bar is in Hurley's guard.

The Bar is thwarting Hurley's attempts to control the position. The Bar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hurley knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hurley throwing short punches from the bottom. The Bar throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The Bar wanted to stand there but Hurley had control of the position. Hurley lands with a heel strike from the guard.
The Bar wants to stand and escape but instead Hurley has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The Bar uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Hurley feints and as The Bar raises his hands in defense, Hurley changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hurley wants to control from the top but The Bar keeps moving. The Bar working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hurley.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hurley wants to control from the top but The Bar keeps moving. The Bar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hurley scoring with punches to the head and body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The Bar is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hurley passes easily into side control. Nice work. Hurley stands up and we're back to a striking position. The Bar misses with a hook. Hurley ducked under it nicely. Bryan Hurley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hurley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches The Bar napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's five minutes gone in the round. The Bar is not content to let Hurley control the position. Hurley landing strikes. Hurley stands up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Hurley. The Bar pushes Hurley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hurley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The Bar trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Hurley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hurley decides to take the fight back to the feet. The Bar is breathing heavily.
That's six minutes gone in the round. The Bar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Hurley stands up and waves to The Bar to follow him. Hurley shoots in and gets a takedown into The Bar's guard. The Bar is working an open guard so Hurley takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Hurley fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with The Bar, pushing him back against the cage. The Bar missing with knees to the body.
The Bar lands a shot to the body. Hurley gets a trip takedown into half guard.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Hurley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and The Bar defends it well. Hurley is trying to control the action in half guard but The Bar is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Hurley stands up out of the half guard. The Bar lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hurley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hurley is trying to break the clinch but The Bar is controlling him. Hurley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hurley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The Bar wants to get up but he can't break Hurley's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The Bar postures up in Hurley's guard and throws a big left but Hurley blocks it. The Bar tries to stand but Hurley is controlling from the bottom. Hurley has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The Bar controls from within his opponent's guard. Hurley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hurley not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hurley not doing much here.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Hurley stands up from The Bar's guard - Hurley perhaps looking for a knockout. Hurley rushes The Bar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The Bar lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. The Bar misses with some punches.

The Bar swings wildly with an uppercut but Hurley uses good head movement to avoid it. The Bar tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hurley is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but The Bar is keeping busy. The Bar makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Hurley dominated that round. That's time! The Bar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The Bar gets back to half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The Bar wants to sweep but Hurley has passed to side control! Hurley trying to control the position but The Bar is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on The Bar's face as Hurley controls the position. The Bar is trying to buck Hurley off. Hurley scoring with punches from side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hurley is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but The Bar is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hurley working the ground and pound from side control.

The Bar is looking to reverse the position. Hurley stands up and beckons The Bar to his feet. Hurley shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Hurley stops The Bar from getting back to his feet.
Hurley wants to work for an arm triangle but The Bar is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hurley trying to control the action but The Bar is working from the bottom. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hurley in particular looking to stall. Hurley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hurley content to control rather than advance. Hurley prevents The Bar from improving his position. Hurley wants to lay and pray for a moment but The Bar keeps working.
That's five minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The Bar is looking to improve his position.
Hurley works his way into side control. Hurley is looking to take a break and control but The Bar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down The Bar's shoulder. That is not cool.

Hurley unloading with bombs! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hurley looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Hurley is in the full mount, landing strikes. The Bar bucks up and throws Hurley to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Hurley blocks a jab. Hurley looking to score a takedown here. The Bar is defending well but Hurley drives through and ends up in The Bar's guard. Hurley controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Hurley stops The Bar from standing up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hurley trying to control the position from guard on top but The Bar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Billy The Bar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Bryan Hurley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hurley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
