Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Starkweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boxing Comte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starkweather's entrance music is I'm On a Boat. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Comte's choice of entrance music: Laser life by Blood Brothers. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Starkweather! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boxing Comte! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Starkweather fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Starkweather lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Starkweather closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Comte did well to prevent Starkweather getting side control. Starkweather is thwarting Comte's attempts to control the position. Starkweather has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Comte is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Starkweather has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Comte's face.
Comte flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

It looks like Boxing Comte has been cut.

Starkweather raining down shots from the mount! Starkweather lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Starkweather lands a heavy elbow.
