Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cottoneye Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Jose Fernando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe comes into the arena with Cottoneye Joe blaring out of the sound system. Cottoneye Joe has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe forces Fernando back against the cage and clinches.
Joe lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Fernando jumps guard but Joe turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Joe breaks from the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Joe scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Marcos Jose Fernando has been cut.
Joe manages to break the clinch.
Joe dives in and scores a takedown into Fernando 's guard.
Fernando is rocked!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Joe keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Fernando 's head.
Fernando is still in real trouble! Can Joe finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Joe controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Joe's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Joe is in close to Fernando 's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Joe slips nicely into half guard.
Fernando on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Joe lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Fernando ! More strikes land and this one is all over! Joe jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
