Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyson Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Sanders!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Sanders as Brown shoots in.
Sanders tries to clinch there but Brown circles away.
Brown throws a nice looking combination but Sanders bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sanders pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tyson Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanders wants to clinch up but Brown keeps it at a distance.
Sanders walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Brown checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Brown tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Brown misses with an uppercut. Sanders saw that one coming.
Sanders misses with a head kick.
Sanders throws a body kick that misses.
Brown throws a series of punches but Sanders avoids them all with ease.

Brown closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sanders is trying to control Brown's posture but Brown avoids it.
Sanders manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Brown throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Sanders is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sanders is staying active underneath Brown, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Sanders wants to stand up but Brown is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sanders is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanders swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Brown slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Tyson Brown has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Sanders moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Sanders dodges the punch combination from Brown.
Brown takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Sanders keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sanders does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Sanders tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sanders dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Brown. That did some damage!

Sanders tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Brown counters with a series of strikes. Sanders will be more careful next time no doubt.
Sanders throws a front kick aimed at Brown's knee but Brown avoids it well.
Sanders walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Brown checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Sanders tries a head kick but it misses.

Brown shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close round but I would say that Tyson Brown will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Brown connects with a nice short shot to Sanders's temple.
Sanders is breathing heavily.
Brown working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Brown is keen to just control but Sanders is a slippery customer.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brown is nestled in close to Sanders, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Brown seems to be working for a kimura but Sanders defends the submission attempt.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Sanders is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sanders tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Brown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanders moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sanders.

Sanders misses with a kick to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Sanders.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sanders lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Brown has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Brown and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Sanders doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.
Sanders misses with a few strikes there.
Tyson Brown is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sanders wants to clinch up but Brown keeps it at a distance.

Tyson Brown is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Brown on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brown tries to get out of the position.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tyson Brown.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Brown, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
