Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller's entrance music is On to the Next One. A fine choice. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, David Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Cody Willis!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller is trying hard to land a takedown here. Willis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Miller shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Willis as he jumps to the side.
Willis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Miller misses with a takedown attempt
and Willis counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Willis misses with an attempted mid kick.
Miller fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Willis slaps away a takedown attempt from Miller, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Miller fails with the takedown
and Willis counters with a three punch combo that has Miller backing up. Miller nods at Willis to acknowledge the strikes.


Miller is rocked!
Miller tries to clinch there but Willis circles away.
Willis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Miller.
Miller throws a hook to the side of Willis's head but Willis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Miller shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Miller prevents Willis from standing back up.

Miller is working for a kimura but Willis is defending it quite comfortably.

Willis makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Horrible takedown by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Willis which made him look bad.
Miller fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Miller shoots in looking for a takedown but Willis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Miller's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Miller throws a jab when Willis was well out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Miller.
Willis slaps away a takedown attempt from Miller, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Miller works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Miller shoots in but no luck this time.
Miller slips a jab from Willis.
Willis moves away from the strike by Miller.
Miller fails with the takedown.

Miller misses with a takedown attempt - Willis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Willis slips a straight right by Miller.
Miller looks for the body kick but Willis saw that one coming.
A punch lands to the side of Willis 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Miller pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Some wild striking there from Willis.
Miller takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Miller throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Willis slips under a jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Miller fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
David Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice combination there by Willis.
Oh Miller is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miller lands a right hook to the body.
Miller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Willis counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Miller seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Miller shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Willis defends it nicely.

Miller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Willis is trying to escape back to his feet but Miller uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Willis is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Cody Willis will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Willis gets caught flat footed, as Miller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Willis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Miller loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Willis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Miller missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Willis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Willis can't keep his opponent in guard - Miller advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Miller looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Willis is trying to stand up here but Miller is controlling him well.

Willis tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Miller manages to move to mount!
Miller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Willis is in all sorts of trouble here.
Willis is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Miller lands a heavy elbow.

Miller moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Willis has worked his arm free - good work by Willis!
Willis stops Miller from passing to mount.

Miller prevents Willis from escaping the position.
David Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Miller cracks Willis with a big right hand but Willis just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Miller has hold of Willis's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Willis seems comfortable defending it but Miller has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Willis is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Willis is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Miller couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). David Miller!
