The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Nelson.

It looks like Donnie Rose has been cut.
Nelson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nelson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rose as he jumps to the side.

Rose goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hoy Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rose cracks Nelson with a hook to the temple - Nelson is on wobbly legs here! Rose swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Nelson falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Rose wins by TKO!
