Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Stam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stam kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tony Iommi - Grace. Hall has chosen Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Leonard Stam!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Albert Hall!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stam on the side of the head.


It looks like Leonard Stam has been cut.
Hall scores with a jab to the body.
Hall lands a jab to Stam's midsection.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stam closes the distance but Hall moves to the side
and Hall counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Stam fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stam.
Stam works Hall's body with a nice hook.
Stam uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hall.
Hall tries to clinch up but Stam circles away and keeps his distance.
A punch combination from Hall misses.
Hall lands with a thumping leg kick.

Hall connects with a single shot there.
Hall cracks Stam with a good jab.
Stam misses with a combination
and Hall counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Albert Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hall misses with a two punch combination.
Hall is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Stam.


It looks like Albert Hall has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hall fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Stam tries to clinch up.
Hall lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hall just leaning against Stam, taking a breather.
Stam jumps guard but Hall turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Hall looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Stam jumps guard but Hall stands there with Stam around his waist. Stam gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Stam is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hall to keep the fight standing.

Hall is pressed up against the cage. Stam has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hall down to the mat. Hall avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hall throws a head kick that misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Hall.
Stam tries to clinch up but Hall circles away and keeps his distance.
Hall lands a two punch combo.
Hall swings for the body but Stam moves out of range.

Hall lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stam backs up against the cage.
Hall throws a body punch but Stam moves out of range.
Hall bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Stam's head backwards.
Hall misses with a few strikes there.
Stam uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hall.
Stam fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stam wants to clinch.
Stam takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stam walks into a stiff left hand from Hall.
Hall lands the left hand.
Stam moves out of range as Hall strikes.
Stam tries to clinch there but Hall circles away.
Hall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hall wants it to stay on the feet.
Stam's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hall connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stam scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hall tries to move into range but Stam moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hall misses with a left hand
and Hall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Albert Hall dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Stam's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Hall is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stam.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Stam.
Hall lands a nice hook to Stam's body. Stam takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hall jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hall tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stam swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stam.
Hall stalks Stam and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stam's face. Stam staggers backwards, shaken.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stam checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Hall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Hall. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Hall throws a half hearted mid kick.
Leonard Stam is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hall scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hall tries to bum rush Stam with a series of wild strikes but Stam uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hall scores with a jab to the body.
Hall dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stam takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hall darts in and clinches Stam up against the cage.
Hall lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Stam backwards.
Stam is trying to drag Hall to the mat but Hall just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Stam takes a shot to the head.
Hall tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Stam's elbow.
Hall makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hall stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Stam keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hall's efforts to push away.

Hall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hall lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stam at a distance.
Hall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Nice body punch from Hall.
Hall darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Hall connects with a leg kick. Stam looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hall keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Stam takes a shot to the body in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hall moves into range and clinches up with Stam.

Hall scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Hall feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stam's calf.
Stam needs to keep his hands up - Hall had a free shot at his head there.
A shot to the liver by Hall. Beautiful body shot.
A lazy left from Hall finds it's target.
Hall is pawing at Stam, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Stam's nose. Stam is badly hurt! Hall pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Stam tries desperately to hold on but Hall is relentless in his assault! As Stam receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Hall away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Albert Hall!
