Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between River Greywar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diago Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greywar's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Written in the stars. Sanchez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Coming Home. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, River Greywar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diago Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greywar has his takedown stuffed and Sanchez counters with a nice uppercut. Sanchez lands a nice shot to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Greywar. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sanchez tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice straight punches there by Sanchez. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sanchez. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Greywar is defended easily by Sanchez. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for River Greywar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Greywar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sanchez pinned against the cage. Sanchez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greywar fails to land the takedown. Greywar misses with a takedown attempt and Sanchez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sanchez scores with a spinning back kick! Sanchez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Greywars jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! No luck with that takedown attempt from Greywar. Sanchez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Greywar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sanchez swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Greywar's head backwards. Greywar with a lazy takedown attempt and Sanchez counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Greywar thinking. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Greywar shoots in for a takedown but Sanchez shows good takedown defense. Greywar takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Greywar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sanchez is fending him off so far but Greywar persists. Nope, Sanchez circles away and we're back to standing. Greywar looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Sanchez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Sanchez shoots in but Greywar avoids the takedown attempt easily. Diago Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Greywar manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sanchez on his heels. He'll look to pass Sanchez's guard now, I'm sure.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Greywar throws a strike but Sanchez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sanchez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sanchez fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Sanchez lands some shots froms side control. Greywar throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Sanchez landing strikes. Greywar gets back to half guard. Sanchez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Greywar actively working from the bottom here. Sanchez is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez wants to free his trapped foot but Greywar is holding on for dear life with his legs. Greywar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Greywar looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Sanchez with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Greywar is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sanchez pulls his head out easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Greywar keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sanchez is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Diago Sanchez dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sanchez throws a hook to the side of Greywar's head but Greywar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sanchez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Greywar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sanchez's guard. Greywar lands a couple of decent looking shots. Greywar postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sanchez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Greywar, into his guard. River Greywar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Greywar had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sanchez defends it easily. Sanchez is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greywar utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sanchez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Greywar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sanchez has managed to get both his arms back between Greywar's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Greywar being controlled here, momentarily. Sanchez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Sanchez working some strikes from top position. Sanchez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Greywar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sanchez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Greywar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sanchez landing with the ground and pound. Greywar looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Sanchez is defending well. Greywar quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Sanchez has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Greywar celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
