Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James Tony!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kelvin Redondo!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tony tests Redondo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Tony throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Tony throws a head kick that Redondo semi-blocks.

Tony forces Redondo back against the ropes and clinches.
Tony slows down the pace here.
Tony lands an elbow that stopped Redondo in his tracks for a moment.


It looks like Kelvin Redondo has been cut.
Redondo is trying to push Tony away but Tony has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Redondo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Tony gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Knees to the body from Tony.
Tony unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Redondo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A short left from Tony.
Redondo tries to circle away but Tony has him pinned against the ropes.
Redondo wants to break free but Tony has control.
Redondo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Tony.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tony with a knee to the head.
Tony connects with a nasty looking knee right to Redondo's face.


Redondo is rocked!
Redondo misses with a punch on the inside.
Redondo has had enough of the clinch but Tony keeps him there for the moment.

Tony breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kelvin Redondo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Redondo takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Tony lands a right hook to the body.
Redondo misses with a head kick.
Tony scores with a hook.
Tony throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Redondo is still on wobbly legs! Can Tony finish him?
Tony connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tony avoids the head kick by Redondo.
Tony moves into range and connects with a jab.
Tony throws a front kick to the face that drops Redondo face first to the mat! Oh, he's in big trouble! He's stumbling all over the place and has face planted into the ropes, causing the referee to call an end to the fight! What a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Front Kick). James Tony!
A relieved looking James Tony thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
