The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouth keeps the fight on the outside.
Joe Holyfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mouth lands with a slapping head kick.
Holyfield connects with a single shot there.
Mouth closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Mouth darts in and clinches Holyfield up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Holyfield breaks from the clinch.
Holyfield misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mouth.
Mouth's jab looks to have found its range, popping Holyfield under the eye.

Mouth clinches up with Holyfield and pushes him back against the cage.
Holyfield takes a shot to the head.
Holyfield misses with a hook from the clinch.
Holyfield goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Holyfield lands a nice shot to the body.
Mouth tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Holyfield just stands there and leans against the cage.

Mouth tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Holyfield blocks a body shot from Mouth.
Mouth has Holyfield pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Holyfield manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Joe Holyfield has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Smash Mouth.
Mouth crunches a lovely knee into Holyfield's ribcage.
Holyfield lands with a left to the head.

Holyfield escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mouth throws a head kick but Holyfield moves out of range.
Mouth avoids the body shot from Holyfield.
Holyfield lands with a straight right. Mouth didn't see that one coming.
Mouth tries to clinch up but Holyfield circles away and keeps his distance.
Holyfield connects with a crisp jab.

It looks like Smash Mouth has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mouth fails in his attempt to clinch.
Holyfield throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Holyfield ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mouth moves away.
Mouth has a takedown stuffed.
A combination from Holyfield does no damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Holyfield comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mouth looks gassed!
Holyfield stuns Mouth with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Holyfield lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mouth at a distance.

Holyfield cracks Mouth with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Holyfield has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mouth to stand back up!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Holyfield, as that shot connected.

Mouth is rocked!
Holyfield fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Mouth to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Mouth looks to clinch but Holyfield throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Mouth taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
