PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mustaffa Spliff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Didier Diane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diane has chosen Let's Get it as his entrance music. Didier Diane told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diane takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Diane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A jab from Diane misses.

Spliff gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Spliff thows a huge punch but Diane dodges it nicely.
Spliff has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Spliff! Diane is hurt baaadly! Spliff is firing away with more strikes - Diane is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
