Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Petor Druskin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariusz Kawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kawa has chosen Nocarz as his entrance music. Mariusz Kawa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Petor Druskin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mariusz Kawa! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Druskin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kawa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Druskin somewhat. Kawa throws a right and a left that Druskin avoids nicely. Kawa throws a nice looking combination but Druskin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Druskin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kawa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Druskin swivels and escapes. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Druskin is defended easily by Kawa. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petor Druskin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kawa looks to land a combination but Druskin avoids it well. Druskin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kawa as he jumps to the side. Druskin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kawa avoids it really well and circles away. Druskin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kawa's half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Druskin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kawa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kawa is trying to escape back to his feet but Druskin uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Druskin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kawa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Kawa tries to bench press Druskin off him but Druskin keeps the position. Druskin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Druskin swings around for an armbar but Kawa sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Druskin's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kawa not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Druskin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Druskin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kawa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kawa wants to control from the top but Druskin keeps moving. Druskin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kawa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kawa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kawa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Druskin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kawa has managed to get both his arms back between Druskin's legs - danger averted. Kawa is stalling in the full guard. Druskin has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kawa should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Druskin has tightened it up now! Kawa should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
