The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escudero uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Robertson has time to react.
Escudero swings widly with a right hand
and Robertson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Robertson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Escudero misses with a jab, cross combination.
Escudero misses with a wild body shot.
Escudero scores with a nice strike.
Escudero misses with a few strikes there.
Robbie Robertson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Escudero throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Robertson.
Robertson misses with the combination.
Escudero throws a right and a left that Robertson avoids nicely.
Escudero sizes up Robertson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
No joy there for Robertson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Robertson tries to work over Escudero's front leg with a kick but Escudero checks it.
Escudero throws an overhand right that lands on Robertson's shoulder, as Robertson tries to avoid the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Escudero fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Robertson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Robertson drops Escudero with a right and a left! Robertson comes rushing in but Escudero regains his composure and manages to keep Robertson in guard.
It looks like Robbie Escudero has been cut.
Escudero looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Robertson wants to control from the top but Escudero keeps moving.
Robertson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The strikes coming from Robertson are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Robertson in side control lands a decent elbow.
Robertson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Escudero is looking for a sweep.

Robertson scores with punches from side control.
Robertson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Escudero's shoulder. That is not cool.
Robertson scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Escudero is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Robertson can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
