Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Levi King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musashimaru Koyo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King's entrance music is Lou Reed - Perfect Day. A fine choice. Koyo has chosen "Tengoku Kara Kaminari" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Levi King! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Musashimaru Koyo! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King avoids a low kick by using good footwork. King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. King takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. King throws a nice outside leg kick. King misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
King lands a jab to Koyo's midsection. King throws a leg kick that is checked and Koyo counters with a nice body kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Koyo is looking to chop away at King's legs. Koyo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Good shot there by Koyo. Koyo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt King. Koyo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from King. Koyo looks to land a body kick but King moved away. Koyo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. King wants to land a leg kick but Koyo is out of range.

King is breathing heavily. Koyo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed King momentarily.
Koyo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to King's calf. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. King on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Koyo. Koyo obviously looking to wear him down.

Koyo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. King looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Both fighters circling a little - Koyo finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A good leg kick by Koyo. Koyo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. King sees it coming and avoids it easily. King slips under a jab from Koyo. Koyo throws a big shot that misses. Koyo throws a body punch but King moves out of range. King jabs at Koyo's body. Koyo throws a solid leg kick but King takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Koyo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koyo throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Koyo chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Koyo punishes King's body with a nice straight punch. Koyo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
It looks like Levi King has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Koyo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. King keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Levi King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Koyo throws a leg kick but King sees it coming and moves out of range. Koyo throws a hook to the side of King's head but King sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A good leg kick by Koyo. Koyo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King blocks a leg kick. King is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Koyo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Koyo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Koyo feints and as King raises his hands in defense, Koyo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Koyo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Koyo is in close to King's body, working some short punches and elbows. Koyo trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Koyo is looking to work some ground and pound but King has wrist control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Koyo postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koyo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Musashimaru Koyo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Levi King's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
King looks to score with a jab to the body but Koyo is just out of range. No joy there for Koyo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Koyo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. King tests Koyo's chin there with a solid looking shot. Koyo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. King on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Koyo darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Koyo connects with an inside leg kick. Koyo dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Koyo misses with a body kick. Musashimaru Koyo seems to be getting the better of the standup. A momentary lapse in concentration from King enables Koyo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. King manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koyo is in close to King's body, working some short punches and elbows. Koyo tries to stand but King is controlling from the bottom. Koyo scoring with some ground and pound. Koyo lands a couple of decent looking shots. Koyo sitting in guard here, content to control. King wants to sweep but no luck. Koyo distracts King with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Koyo trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Koyo trying to control but King is working from the bottom. King escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Koyo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Koyo wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King wants to sweep here but Koyo controlling him for the moment. King looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Koyo puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. King wants to control but Koyo is keeping busy.
Koyo wants to free his trapped foot but King is holding on for dear life with his legs. Koyo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Koyo controlling the pace.

Musashimaru Koyo has got the better of the ground game so far. Koyo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Koyo drops an elbow to the side of King's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Koyo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but King does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Koyo wants to get back to his feet.
Koyo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks King with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! King wants to control but Koyo is keeping busy and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Musashimaru Koyo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Levi King's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

King lands with a hook. Koyo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. King lands with a shot to the body. Koyo connects with a leg kick. King looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Koyo misses with a low kick. Both fighters are breathing heavily. King checks a leg kick nicely. Koyo throws a nice looking combination but King bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Good exchange - Koyo coming out on top. Koyo tries to score a power double leg takedown but King sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Koyo somewhat. Koyo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
King slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Koyo cracks the inside of King's front leg. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! That kick from Koyo tenderised King's leg. King is trying to keep his angry face on. Koyo feints and then cracks King's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow King down. Koyo thuds a left hand into King's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Koyo. King does a little dance to reset his feet. Koyo thumps King with a low kick. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Koyo, right into the meat.
Koyo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Koyo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Koyo thuds his right hand into King's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Koyo misses with a low kick. Koyo connects with an inside leg kick. Koyo scores with a leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Koyo. Koyo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Koyo lands a left and a right that send King crashing to the mat, dazed. Koyo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
King is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koyo throws a pinpoint strike between King's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends King crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Koyo scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Musashimaru Koyo! Musashimaru Koyo retains his super heavyweight title! Musashimaru Koyo really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Supersize Me logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
