Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gideon Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alen Delon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delon has chosen Prayer Of The Refugee as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Gideon Gonzalez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Gonzalez lands but Delon takes it in his stride.
Gonzalez connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Delon shoots in and bounces Gonzalez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Delon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Delon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Delon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gonzalez tries to avoid it but Delon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gonzalez to the ground. Gonzalez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

BOOM! Delon connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Alen Delon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Horrible takedown by Delon or perhaps it was just good defense by Gonzalez which made him look bad.
