Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roman Burza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fausto Carmelon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burza comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome To The Jungle. Carmelon has chosen You Found Me as his entrance music. Fausto Carmelon acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roman Burza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carmelon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Carmelon swings for the body but Burza moves out of range.
Carmelon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Burza pinned against the cage. Burza gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Burza fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Carmelon on the side of the head.
Carmelon throws a hook to the side of Burza's head but Burza sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Carmelon throws a jab but it's blocked by Burza.
Carmelon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Carmelon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Carmelon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Burza is trying to drag Carmelon to the mat but Carmelon just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Carmelon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Burza.

Burza shoots in looking for a takedown. Carmelon tries to sprawl out of it but Burza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carmelon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Burza counters with a nice low kick that buckles Carmelon's knee momentarily.

and Burza counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Carmelon is on top in guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
