Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Moreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Leighty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moreira comes to the cage accompanied by Samba de janeiro - bellini. Leighty is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cowboy Dan. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreira tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Moreira drops back, looking for a kneebar! Leighty looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Leighty looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Leighty!

Moreira shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Leighty pinned against the cage. Leighty gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Leighty stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Leighty wants it to stay on the feet.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Moreira crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Leighty - the referee stops the clock and Moreira gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Leighty. Moreira manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
