Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rios comes to the cage accompanied by Painkiller - Judas Priest. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Rios! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Miller! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rios works Miller's body with a nice hook. Miller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rios sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miller somewhat. Miller shoots in but Rios avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rios clinches with his opponent.
Rios is pressed up against the cage. Miller has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rios down to the mat. Rios avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Alex Rios has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Miller. Rios misses with a kick to the body.
A punch combination from Rios misses. James Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rios rushes Miller and presses him up against the cage. Miller tries to score a body lock takedown but Rios shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Rios tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Miller can't get the takedown.
Rios slowing the pace effectively. Rios tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Miller's elbow. Miller takes a shot to the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Rios breaks from the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Rios which made him look bad. Rios drops Miller with a beautiful combination! Miller stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rios is looking for the KO!
Miller is rocked!
It looks like James Miller has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rios pinned against the cage. Rios gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Miller is still on wobbly legs! Can Rios finish him? Miller looks gassed! Rios scores with a leg kick.
Miller leaves his chin hanging out and Rios seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Miller crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alex Rios! A very excited looking Alex Rios made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
