A fine choice. Henri Jones will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jerry Attrick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Henri Jones!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Attrick shows good takedown defense.
No luck for Attrick with that takedown attempt.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Attrick circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Attrick but Attrick pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jerry Attrick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henri Jones.

Attrick drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Attrick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

Attrick lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jones down.

Attrick is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Attrick lands a nice forearm strike.

Attrick throws a strike aimed at the side of Jones's head but Jones avoids it well.
Attrick looking to control but instead Jones has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Attrick is trying to control the action in half guard but Jones is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Jones has hold of Attrick's hands but Attrick slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Attrick looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jones trying to get back to full guard but Attrick takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

and Attrick counters with a takedown into side control.
Jones dodges the ground and pound from Attrick.
Jones is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Attrick trying to mount his opponent but Jones defends it.

Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Attrick is working away from the top position though.
Attrick lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Attrick passes the guard and advances to mount!
Jones in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Jones holds on for dear life, controlling Attrick's posture momentarily.
Attrick controlling his opponent.
Attrick lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Attrick lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
BOOM! Attrick connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jones manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Attrick trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom.
Attrick is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jones is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Attrick missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Attrick thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Jones fails with the takedown.
Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Attrick sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Attrick closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Attrick pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Attrick slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jerry Attrick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henri Jones.

Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Attrick keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
Attrick wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.

Attrick pushes Jones off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Attrick wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Attrick pushes Jones off and scrambles back to his feet.
Attrick fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Attrick which made him look bad.
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Attrick shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Attrick shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Attrick is refusing to be controlled, as Jones sits in half guard.
Attrick pushes Jones off looking to stand but Jones dives back in and keeps control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Henri Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Attrick has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
