Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thug Behram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grappler Striking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Behram comes to the cage accompanied by 25 Minutes to go. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Striking as Behram shoots in.
Behram looks to land a body kick but Striking moved away.
Good exchange - Behram coming out on top.
Striking throws a nice outside leg kick.

Behram feints and then cracks Striking's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Striking down.

Striking will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Striking throws a leg kick which misses Behram's front leg but catches the back leg as Behram tries to avoid it.

Striking is looking for a triangle but Behram pushes his legs off easily.
Striking escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Behram gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Striking is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Behram makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Behram.
Behram wants to control but Striking passes easily into half guard.

Striking thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Behram's head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Behram is trying to maintain the position but Striking is very close to passing his half guard.
Behram is not content to let Striking control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Thug Behram will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Striking punishes Behram's body with a nice straight punch.

Behram lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Striking circles away quickly and effectively.
Behram is looking to slow Striking down with leg kicks.
Striking throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Striking keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Behram throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Striking scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Behram doesn't seem bothered though.
Striking shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Striking showed some decent athleticism there.
Striking working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Striking wants to control but Behram is keeping him busy.

Behram is looking to break free of the clinch but Striking has double underhooks.
A short body shot lands from Striking as the two fighters clinch.
Striking lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Behram or not.
Behram breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Behram is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Striking.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Behram.
Striking gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Behram gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Nice straight punches there by Striking. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Striking.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Behram takes one to the side of the head.
Behram will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Striking wants to clinch up but Behram keeps it at a distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Behram.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Grappler Striking showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Striking throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Grappler Striking seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Striking throws out a loose jab but Behram uses good head movement to avoid it.

Horrible takedown by Striking or perhaps it was just good defense by Behram which made him look bad.
Thug Behram has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grappler Striking.

Behram lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Striking or not.

Behram thows a huge punch but Striking dodges it nicely.

Striking is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Behram's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Behram's back!

Striking can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Behram is looking to escape.
Behram tries to hold on but Striking pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
BOOM! Striking connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Behram is wriggling around trying to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Behram tries to roll over but Striking keeps him under control.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thug Behram.
I think Behram has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
