Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Javier Gattuso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winston Loosem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gattuso kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DMX - X Gonna Give It To Ya. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Javier Gattuso!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Winston Loosem!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loosem lands a jab to the head.
Gattuso lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Gattuso lands with a shot to the body.
Gattuso fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Loosem is out of range.
Loosem misses with a double jab.
Loosem avoids the body shot from Gattuso.
Gattuso throws a leg kick which misses Loosem's front leg but catches the back leg as Loosem tries to avoid it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Loosem tries to bum rush Gattuso with a series of wild strikes but Gattuso uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gattuso throws a right and a left that Loosem avoids nicely.
Gattuso scoring well with a low kick there.
Gattuso drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Gattuso moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Loosem misses with a hook. Gattuso ducked under it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Loosem rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gattuso moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Loosem chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gattuso can pounce on him.
Loosem looks gassed!
Gattuso connects with a right that clearly hurt Loosem. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Gattuso proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Loosem collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Javier Gattuso!

A relieved looking Javier Gattuso thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
