Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lucky Charm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pain Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peters has chosen BringThe Pain as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 21 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucky Charm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pain Peters! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peters lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Peters shoots in and drives through. Charm sprawls well. Peters loads up on a big right hand but Charm slips the punch. Charm will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Peters tries to close the distance and clinch up but Charm swats him away and circles back towards the center. Peters shoots in looking for a takedown. Charm tries to sprawl out of it but Peters keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Charm manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Charm feints and then cracks Peters's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Peters down. Peters will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Peters tries to bum rush Charm with a series of wild strikes but Charm uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Charm slips a straight right by Peters. Peters shoots in for a takedown but Charm shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lucky Charm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pain Peters. Charm throws a leg kick but Peters checks it. Charm lands a leg kick that knocks Peters off balance momentarily. Charm swinging wildly here.
Charm lands a left and a right that send Peters crashing to the mat, dazed. Charm thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Charm misses with a double jab.
Charm throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Peters.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peters throws a jab when Charm was well out of range. Charm is pawing at Peters, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Peters's nose. Peters is badly hurt! Charm pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Peters tries desperately to hold on but Charm is relentless in his assault! As Peters receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Charm away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lucky Charm!
