The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boykin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Tebow counters with a left to the body.
Boykin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tebow finds it's way round the side to connect with Boykin's head.

I really don't envy Boykin right now.
Tebow is trying to stick to Boykin's back but Boykin is turning into Tebow. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Tebow's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Boykin.
Tebow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boykin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Tebow has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Boykin off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Tebow is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Boykin sees it coming and defends easily.

Tebow uses his free foot to push down on Boykin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Boykin.
