Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Helio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Roward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Dufflebag Boy. Roward has chosen Amazing as his entrance music. Helio Gracie had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
21 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helio Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Roward!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roward throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Gracie counters with a nice body shot.
Gracie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Roward misses with a looping right.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Roward ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gracie slips a straight right by Roward.
Roward tries to move into range but Gracie moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Roward.
Roward slips under a jab from Gracie.
Roward has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Roward there as he acknowledges the shot.
Roward looks to land a right hand but Gracie moved out of range.
Gracie bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Roward rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Gracie counter with a right hand.
Roward throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Roward misses with a lunging right hand
and Gracie counters with a nice body shot.
Josh Roward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Gracie does it's job there.
A swing and a miss from Roward.
Roward has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Roward there as he acknowledges the shot.
Roward throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie.
Roward seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Gracie shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Roward is backing up but Gracie catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Roward covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Gracie Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Helio Gracie!
