Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Game Changer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evangelista Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evangelista Nunes is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Game Changer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evangelista Nunes! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Nunes enables Changer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nunes manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Nunes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Changer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Nunes is looking for a triangle here but Changer uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Nunes sneaks back into half guard. Changer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nunes on the ground. Nunes wants to improve his position but Changer is controlling well.
Changer is thwarting Nunes's attempts to control the position. Nunes moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Changer sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. Changer trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Nunes manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Changer wants to sweep but no luck. Nunes stands and throws Changer's legs to the side, diving into side control. Nunes tries for a kimura but Changer is defending well. Nunes working away. Changer is looking for a sweep. Nunes tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nunes has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Changer is looking for a sweep. Changer sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Changer is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Nunes thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Changer's head. Changer throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Nunes manages to pass to side control. Nunes is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Changer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Changer stops Nunes from passing to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Changer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nunes wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Nunes misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Nunes tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Nunes throws a strike aimed at the side of Changer's head but Changer avoids it well. A lull in the action here as Nunes stalls from top position. Nunes has control of an arm but Changer manages to advance to Nunes's back! Changer gets his hands free as Nunes looks to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nunes manages to reverse the position and now he's in Changer's guard. Nice work there by Nunes.
Nunes sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Changer's guard. Nunes is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Changer slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Nunes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Changer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Changer looking to sweep here. No luck so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Changer has Nunes pulled in close to control his posture. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nunes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Changer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nunes has managed to get both his arms back between Changer's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Evangelista Nunes dominated that round. That's time! Changer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nunes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Changer sprawls well. Changer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nunes gets slowly back to his feet. Changer shoots in and gets a takedown into Nunes's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nunes working a defensive guard here.
Nunes might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Changer kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Changer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nunes is proving hard to escape from. Changer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A slapping leg kick lands for Nunes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Changer doesn't manage to clinch there - Nunes circles away.
Changer shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Nunes looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Changer sitting and controlling from the half guard. Nunes trying to hold on to Changer's head to control him but Changer postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Changer trying to control the pace. Changer seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Nunes tries to get to full guard but Changer has control of the leg. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Nunes slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Nunes has his foot on Changer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Changer works his way back into a safe position though. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Changer trying to control the position from guard on top but Nunes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Changer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Changer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Changer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Changer wants to pass the guard but Nunes is keeping the position. Nunes is working an open guard so Changer takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Horrible takedown by Changer or perhaps it was just good defense by Nunes which made him look bad. Nunes goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Game Changer has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nunes lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Nunes, right into the meat.
Changer shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Changer showed some decent athleticism there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Changer looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The fighters are battling for position here. Nunes manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Nunes pushes a forearm under Changer's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Changer is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
