Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rj Paned (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Spider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Rj Paned!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Anderson Spider!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paned decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Paned really is a fat lump.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Spider wants to control but Paned is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Paned working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Spider is trying to control but can't.
Spider throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Spider trying to control here.
Paned throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Paned perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Anderson Spider wasn't active enough on the ground.
A looping hook to the body misses from Paned. Spider does a little dance to reset his feet.
Spider swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Paned.
Spider throws a series of punches but Paned moves out of range.
Spider lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Paned at a distance.
Spider fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Spider throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Spider throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Spider gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Paned wants to pass the guard but Spider is keeping the position.
Spider looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Spider working for a triangle but Paned defends it easily.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Paned's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Paned showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Paned drops back looking for a leg! Spider is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Spider manages to kick Paned off! Paned jumps back into Spider's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Paned gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Spider swinging wildly here.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Spider pulls Paned into guard.
Paned wants to pass the guard but Spider is keeping the position.
Paned not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Paned gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Paned shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Paned showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Paned is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paned looks for the body kick but Spider saw that one coming.

Paned shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Spider is trying to defend but Paned finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Paned seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Spider for as long as he can get away with.

Spider feints a jab promting Paned to slip. Spider then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Paned slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Spider throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

It looks like Rj Paned has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spider throws a head kick that Paned semi-blocks.
Anderson Spider seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Spider misses with a two punch combination.

Paned clinches with his opponent.

Paned is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Spider can't fight it off and eventually Paned manages to take the fight to the floor. Spider looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Spider is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Paned wants to pass the guard but Spider is keeping the position.
Paned trying to control the position from guard on top but Spider is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Spider has his foot on Paned's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Paned works his way back into a safe position though.

Paned slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rj Paned wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Paned closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Spider quickly recovers to half guard.

Spider is trying to maintain the position but Paned is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Spider tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Paned is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Spider doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Paned.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rj Paned will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Spider connects with a solid leg kick.
Spider cracks Paned with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Spider throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Paned stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nice sprawl there from Spider as Paned shoots in.
Spider lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Spider lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Spider throws a nice head kick!
Paned has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Paned takes a kick to the side of the head.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Spider misses with a series of wild punches.

Rj Paned overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Paned stands up and waves to Spider to follow him.

Sloppy strikes from Spider. Those never looked like landing.
Spider pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rj Paned is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Paned misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Spider lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Paned circles away quickly and effectively.
Anderson Spider is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Spider pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Spider lands a really nice looking cross but Paned seems unphased.

Paned is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Danga de danga de dang - Spider scores with a four punch combination!
Paned needs to keep his hands up - Spider had a free shot at his head there.
Paned takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Spider goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Spider throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Paned throws a right and a left that Spider avoids nicely.
Anderson Spider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Paned misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Spider lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Paned backs up against the cage.
Paned throws a head kick that misses.
Paned has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Spider.
Paned keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

A looping hook to the body misses from Spider. Paned does a little dance to reset his feet.

Paned gets the takedown into side control.
Spider takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Paned is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Paned is looking to take a break and control but Spider is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Spider is trying to improve his position.
Spider is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Anderson Spider has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rj Paned is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Spider tries to roll over but Paned keeps him under control.
