Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sharman Potamkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Natt Huges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sharman Potamkin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Natt Huges! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potamkin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Huges's waist but Huges gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Potamkin off to one side. Huges shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Potamkin as he avoids it easily. Potamkin has his takedown stuffed and Huges counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Potamkin is looking to improve his position.
Well, if Huges is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Huges wants to pass to mount but Potamkin is defending the position. Huges really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Potamkin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Potamkin is looking to control Huges's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Potamkin avoid being mounted? Huges content to control rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Let's hope that Huges has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potamkin is trying to control but Huges manages to pass to mount!
Huges pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
It looks like Sharman Potamkin has been cut. Huges working Potamkin over with strikes here.
Potamkin is rocked! Huges controlling the position easily from mount. Potamkin tries to lock up and control but Huges gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Potamkin is breathing heavily. Potamkin is working to get back to half guard.

Sharman Potamkin's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Huges controlling his opponent. Huges working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Huges controlling from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Huges cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Huges controlling from the full mount. Potamkin tries to reverse the position but Huges maintains control. Huges controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Despite being in the dominant position, Natt Huges just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Huges shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Huges controlling the pace for now. Huges scoring with strikes but Potamkin is staying in there.
Jeez, Sharman Potamkin's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sharman Potamkin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
