Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Whitepride Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Vertinskaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Viktor Vertinskaya has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Whitepride Velasquez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Viktor Vertinskaya! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vertinskaya avoids the head kick by Velasquez.
Velasquez walks into a left hand.
It looks like Whitepride Velasquez has been cut. Velasquez lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Excellent takedown into side control there by Velasquez. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Vertinskaya holding on. Vertinskaya is trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velasquez sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Vertinskaya is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Vertinskaya is not content to let Velasquez control the position. Vertinskaya really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Velasquez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Velasquez throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Vertinskaya prevents Velasquez from improving position. Velasquez misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Velasquez looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Vertinskaya is avoiding damage well.
Velasquez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vertinskaya keeps working.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Vertinskaya jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vertinskaya lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A momentary lapse in concentration from Vertinskaya enables Velasquez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Vertinskaya manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Velasquez stops Vertinskaya from standing up. Vertinskaya working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Velasquez. Velasquez landing some decent shots from guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Velasquez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Velasquez wants to control from the top but Vertinskaya keeps moving. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Velasquez with a flurry of punches that miss. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Viktor Vertinskaya hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Vertinskaya works the jab nicely.
Whitepride Velasquez's cut is getting worse. Velasquez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Vertinskaya sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Viktor Vertinskaya will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Whitepride Velasquez's cut. That's time! Velasquez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Vertinskaya has Velasquez up against the ropes in a clinch.

Velasquez is leaning against Vertinskaya and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Velasquez breaks from the clinch.
Velasquez lands a jab to the nose. Vertinskaya cracks Velasquez with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Velasquez looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Vertinskaya finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Velasquez lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Velasquez avoids the body shot from Vertinskaya.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velasquez moves out of range as Vertinskaya strikes. Vertinskaya moves into range and clinches up with Velasquez. Vertinskaya blocks a body shot from Velasquez. Velasquez pulls Vertinskaya into guard.
Velasquez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Vertinskaya has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Velasquez is proving hard to escape from. Vertinskaya throws a big right hand that misses. Vertinskaya content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Velasquez has locked up a guillotine! Velasquez's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Vertinskaya is holding on here and Velasquez must be using up a lot of energy. Vertinskaya has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Velasquez gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Whitepride Velasquez! After winning the bout, Whitepride Velasquez thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
