Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roy Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Dinero!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinero has a takedown stuffed.
Dinero shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dinero.
Roy Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Dinero.
Dinero shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side.
Dinero shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense.
Jackson looks to land a combination but Dinero avoids it well.
Dinero shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely.
Horrible takedown by Dinero or perhaps it was just good defense by Jackson which made him look bad.
Dinero tries for a takedown but Jackson circles away easily
and Jackson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dinero looks gassed!

Jackson darts in and clinches Dinero up against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson struggles to land a body shot inside as Dinero controls his hands.
Jackson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Jackson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dinero walks away with a smile on his face. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Jackson moves into the clinch.
Jackson with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Jackson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Dinero jumps guard but Jackson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Dinero blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Jackson gets control of Dinero's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jackson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Dinero wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position.
Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dinero is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Dinero slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dinero on the ground.

Dinero working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackson is pushing Dinero's head away, looking to escape. Dinero manages to hold on to the position though.

Dinero thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Dinero in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Jackson is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Andrew Dinero!
