Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bigfoot Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksandr Progbeniak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aleksandr Progbeniak! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva throws out a loose jab but Progbeniak uses good head movement to avoid it. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Progbeniak uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Silva. A slow jab from Silva misses its intended target. Progbeniak shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Silva is trying to defend but Progbeniak finishes it well and ends up in half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Progbeniak changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Progbeniak tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Progbeniak is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Progbeniak is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Silva wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Progbeniak controlling the position from side mount. Progbeniak working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Progbeniak has an Americana. Silva didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Progbeniak is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Progbeniak hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
